We use a Bayesian average: (v × R + 10 × 4.8) ÷ (v + 10), where R is the public rating and v is the number of reviews. Review volume therefore matters as well as the average. Search scores are adjusted slightly for distance and claimed status. Listings with fewer than three reviews do not show stars. Temporarily closed brokers are excluded from default results. Paid placement is not available.
